Day 8 (Taipei)

 

Day 8 was our free&easy day with a 1-day metro pass and ticket to the International Flora Expo. The weather became unexpectedly hot and the exhibits were not exactly attractive so we left after just a while.

 

 

We took the subway to Taipei Main Station and walked down 3 lanes to search for: (1) chilli dumping noodles and (2) a shophouse from which I bought a soft toy 3 years ago. Unfortunately, we failed in both.

 

To make our 1-day ticket worth, we travelled to Miramar Entertainment Park to see the ferris wheel. We had dinner at Macs before returning to the hotel.

 

 

Waking up at 4am, we took the coach to the airport to catch our flight BR226 back to Singapore. Although sad at the impending end of our vacation, the 8-days of cumulative fatigue caught up with me and I was looking actually forward to going home to rest.
